For audio, I will typically want all instruments to be in each part (since I want to hear them all). I like to use the mixer settings - instrument and volume being the most important. I hope it improves my lot in regards to regenerating audio files. ![]() Along with mixer volume and reverb, these effectively allow a plugin to store a part's (or a full score's) basic starting mixer settings and instrument types, change them, and then later restore them in the same or another session. There are 2 methods in the Staff object - SoundIdOverrideIfAny and SetSoundId - that allow read/write access to what instrument a staff starts out with.
